PPV is always who the people wanna see. Always. lolololol....
Who wanted to see Bellew v Cleverly or Eubank Jnr v Aussie for WBO title?
Apparently enough people to pay for the ppv.

No it bombed but they will still justify it.

Location and familiarity fighter fan base has everything to do with promotion. Can you picture Canyellow vs Chavez jr on Cinco de Mayo fighting in Omaha Nebraska?

Judges judges judges. The zero accountability and no review process follows them world wide.

PPV could be a useful service if used properly. There are so many fights not made now because HBO won't pony up for both sides to make it worthwhile. Why fight a guy that might beat you and hurt future earnings for 1.2 when you can fight Joe Schmoe for 1?

If you can't make the fight because the money isn't there put it on PPV, the guys get what they're worth. The market dictates. That is business.

It got us Crawford/Postol and it could get us more meaningful fights if it was used properly. Who cares if it doesn't earn a ton of money? Everyone gets what the market dictates they deserve. No fighter can complain about not being paid enough if his money is determined by his sales.
