Fuck not heard his name in years!!
I worked ringside for this very website when Junior Witter beat him on points and won the title in London back in 2006![]()
No, being facts makes them facts. Cottos people straight admitted it. I'm not taking a dig at Cotto, he started his career very difficult. I'm in no way saying he was a ducker or any crap like that. You are talking about a competely different time. Floyd retired at 147, I'm taking about 140. If you don't know what I'm talking about don't comment on it. I'm not talking I like this guy so I will say this. It was reported because it happened, they said they weren't looking at a Mayweather fight then. Their words, not mine.
It's hard to find articles that old but I came across this poll and discussion because what I said was very well known

Everyone discusses whether Cotto should have accepted the fight or declined as they did. Because it happened. Not because I said it happened. Because it factually happened. I don't put anything in quotes that isn't true. Nice attempt to discredit me though. Except you will find I deal in facts.

You obviously went the "Cotto ducked Mayweather" route, so between you and me, let's cut the bull. Every other news story has quotes, articles, pictures, whatever it takes to back them up. But we get to see your references to a forum poll?? You put the "we are not interested in a Mayweather fight right now" in quote marks which of course makes it sound like a direct quote from someone in Cotto's camp. Were you there? Did you reference a credible article containing an exact quote? Not trying to be picky here, but you obviously sent your message, if not in the exact words. If something like that was said, is there anything in your post or quote that explains the context? Not important, right? Listen bud, not trying to pick a fight here.... but strong opinions need a little accountability behind them.
