He and the Quo were hugely loved. You can hear it on the live albums. At one point they were the loudest band in the world. They played Plymouth in the 70's and apparently you could hear it out to sea at the breakwater
It was a simple formulae boogie and blues bit they nailed it. You have to play this loud to get it . RIP Rick
