    Corrie Sanders

Didnt fight Tyson because Don king stuff (I heard) avoided by Lennox (admittedly) and other big names. Only 3 losses; a fluke, Rahman who he knocked down!, and Vitaly in later rounds tko (still standing).

Ask Lennox he says this too.

Dwight Muhammed Qwai/Braxton-hell of a short pressure fighter who beat many good fighters and gave Holyfield a tougher time than Mike Tyson did
Jose Luis Castillo-Despite recently screwin everyone with the weight nonsense, he is every bit as much of a warrior as MAB or Morales, and should have handed PBF his first loss but got screwed, gotta be one of the greatest lightweights of all time.
If I think of more I'll add em.
hard 2 argue--but i think ali was the best HW--had their been a prime ali--he would easily b the greatest...no debate. i think the ali who beat liston could take on holmes

    Miguel Canto
    Larry Holmes
    Gilberto Roman
    Eder Jofre
    Azumah Nelson
Simple question. You would call Ortiz's Puerto Ricos greatest fighter? I say Wifredo Gomez
I have Ortiz slightly ahead of Gomez simply because Ortiz was able to redem himself and beat back all but 3 of 7 guys that beat him. I also think edge goes to Ortiz on opposition.
Gomez fully dominated and held one belt at Super Bantam thought IMO he should have been DQ'd for hitting Zarate while he was on the canvas already. He fought well and good opposition much props to him for moving up in weight it just wasn't to be. All in all anyone can make a good arguement why one or the other is better I personally side with Ortiz.
I say Gomez, but I can see Ortiz's case. And don't really have a problem with him being called number 1
Why do you give Gomez the edge?
Cuz I seen more of his fights. A lot more. I seen about 3 of Ortiz's fights (he is a lot older fighter). I have a hard time finding his fights. If I see more, than I might change my mind. Till than, I say Gomez. His destruction of Carlos Zarate and battles with Lupe Pintor and Juan LaPorte were great. His losses to Azumah Nelson and Salvador Sanchez are nothing to be ashamed of.

    Gotcha'.....
What exactly did you get him on?
Gotcha' is like saying 'I got it' or 'I understand'

Joe Calzaghe-does not get the credit he deserves but just by watching him,you see his skills.

JMM-highly highly skilled and very powerful technician who beat Pacman in my opinion. Supposedly been ducked by EM and MAB and has had poor management which has hampered his career but a great fighter.

Castillo- a rugged warrior who beat PBF the first time, beat Casamayor,ko'ed Corrales and beat guys like Lazcano,Stevie Johnston etc etc Quite skilled and willing to fight everyone although think the wars will catch up with him when he faces Hatton.
