I know nothing much about this case, nor any previous offences the court took into consideration.

However, I did see a picture of the bloke and he looked like a fat subnormal chav.

Therefore, it was right and proper that he was placed in a jail, where he might get murdered by another fat subnormal chav.

Logically, that is the most effective way to reduce the amount of fat subnormal chavs.

Also working in criminal justice actually made me realize how screwed up the system was. @Beanz so you know my job was to help people get out of jail when we deemed it appropriate something I was very passionate about. I saw way too many mental health issues being incarcerated because the system had no where to put them which is unconstitutional. Had u ever worked in it you would know. Perhaps master worked from the other side but not me. I've seen people held in jail as they couldn't afford a 150 dollar fine.

Cook County Jail (Chicago) is the largest Mental Health facility in the United States....it's a shame.

I agree that in the States it seems from an outsider that they are very quick to lock people up that could be helped in other ways and that mental health services are incredibly underfunded on both sides of the pond. The fact remains none of us are privy to all the facts in this case. None of us have seen his precons nor have we read any of the reports etc. We aslo do not even know if he died of natural causes. Under normal circumstances and if it was a first offence it would be excessive but as I said we seldom imprison people and if he was he deserved it.
