Fighters normally don't blame the other..... fans do. But each time I watch Wlad-Povetkin (I really don't), the more I think the least Povetkin should've been allowed to do is knee Wlad in the groin. That would've solved that problem. If the ref's gonna be MIA, he should be MIA for both fighters.
To be fair to Haye when he fought Wlad he fell on his knees a lot to stop the clinching.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Foot stomps and nut shots above all us in worse case scenario . That's why I don't mind a guy working a refs blindside. If your opponent is going to offer a clinch, tie that arm up and wail away with the other. In Wlads case just surprised juice-box Povetkin didn't step around and let him fall forward. Wlad was literally a wet blanket there.

A lot of times many of these rules aren't even enforced.... Some refs just allow too much grabbing/holding which infuriates me to no end.... Move your feet/head and keep your guard up to avoid punches and also to get yourself into position to punch..... From my youth boxing coach: for every punch there's a counter and for every counter there's a punch..... IMHO punches landed should always win the day but that's not always how things tun out in the boxing ring....

Ali should have lost 3 points in Frazier 2 and probably been DQ'ed by the 9th.
