The US stock market has a price to earnings multiple of about 22. 21.8 What the hell.

The Russian stock market has a PE multiple of 9.1. Cyclically adjusted it's 5.9 and I'm rounding it up.

Why is the Russian stock market such amazing value compared to the US market? (Nothing to do with sanctions, ratios were the same before we imposed any sanctions.)
