It's a proven fact that 95% of fighters who suffer brain bleeds do so through tough sparring so they are basically going into the ring on fight night as a brain accident waiting to happen so they need to use them a day or so after the fighters have finished their sparring sessions. @Memphis stuck the article on my facebook this morning
And i do agree with what Memphis said last year when i was banging on about these devices in that they will give promoters MASSIVE headaches and ultimately cost them more money by having to re book everything from Venues, press gigs etc etc (not just in the UK but abroad too - AJ v Wlad promo in NYC as an example) but fuck the promoters.... they make plenty of dollar anyway.
Last year was pretty brutal in the UK alone in terms of fighter deaths and comas so hopefully this will stamp that out or at least improve things massively.
These devices will eventually be used in most sports, you only have to look at what happened to Ryan Mason when he got accidentally and brutally headbutted by Gary Cahill the other week during Chelsea v Hull.
