Props to both guys for stepping up and raking what looks like a tough fight. Brook was one of the most avoided fighters around on his way up, and he is giving a serious contender his chance.
i must admit I'm surprised that Brook thinks he can still make welterweight. Let's see what the GGG fight took out of him ..... especially weightwise

Absolutely amped about this being so close to a done deal. Mass respect to both and long in coming to what this stacked 147 division needs! Biggest questions for me are how does Spence travel and he'll be playing opponent and where is Brook off a substantial whipping at the hands of Golovkin.

Be interesting to see how Spence does past 8 against a top welter - I can't see him getting Brook out before the end of 12 at all.
Brook must be the very slight favourite for this? Haven't looked yet.
brooks decision to fight ggg could have been a good one eh

Nice kick in the nuts to Brook's critics slagging him for facing Dan and Bizier when mandated. This fight is happening precisely because Brook followed the IBF rules to keep his title.

I really think Spence might just take Brook apart. I know he's controlling his weight better these days but it's going to be a killer getting back down to 147.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I see a lot of people optimistically comparing this with the Calzaghe-Lacy lark (especially Kell's mob). But I see it more as a Crawford-Burns/Bradley-Witter.
Even ignoring the weight issue for Brook, Spence looks equally as talented at the very least.
