@Batman that basketball video says tear. Read the difference between tear and rupture. Rupture means completely snapped. Tear is just a tear and will still have function

Bryant completely tore his Achilles tendon and made two free throws before walking off under his own power. Even in the most vulnerable moment of his career, Kobe was defiant. He refused to let anything, even immense physical pain, defeat him.
A successful procedure is performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. The following day, the surgeon speaks with Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times, describing Bryant’s rupture as typical of hundreds he has repaired over a period of 23 years. He adds that the procedure can be likened to stitching together two ends of a mop.

Surprisingly, there are no differences between a complete tear and a rupture. However, a tear can be partial or complete. An Achilles tendon injury, for instance, can be a tear or a rupture. ... The Achilles tendon is often torn or ruptured during quick movements, such as starting a race.14 Jan 2014

It doesn't matter how severe Hayes injury was , at the end of the day he lost to a fat CW.
He is nothing more than a show pony now living in the past.

After Tony Bellew became one of the most wanted heavyweights in the world, we asked him to assess five possible opponents.

The 'Bomber' is considering one more fight against the biggest men in boxing following Saturday's stoppage victory over David Haye at The O2.

Haye has already called for a rematch, while two world champions are also being considered by Bellew, who gives his brutally honest verdict.

    Deontay Wilder
He's extremely explosive and powerful. Leaky defence and exactly what it says on the tin - wild at times. But an exceptional fighter, very fast, someone I rate highly.

He's a heavyweight champion of the world and I'm the best heavyweight outside the champions, so make of that what you will. I don't know what else I can say about it.

    David Haye
Still a brilliant fighter. Still very fast, still very powerful. Would I fight him again? Yeah, and I would beat him again as well.

I could potentially get him out earlier, because he will show me a lot more respect this time. I won't have to gain and earn his respect, like I did in the first fight. It takes time to do that.

    Tyson Fury
I rate Tyson Fury highly. A very, very good fighter. Let's not forget what he did in Germany. He did the unthinkable, no-one gave him a hope, and he went there and did it.

A man who has fought the odds like me, we're champions of the misfits. He doesn't aesthetically look very beautiful, similar to me, but the man can fight - he can really, really fight.

If everything goes well and he passes everything he needs to pass, then it's a fight that can potentially happen, yes it is.

    Joseph Parker
He's a shorter, solid fighter. A throwback to the old heavyweight days. He's not your modern day giant of a heavyweight. He's big and he's solid, but I think he is the lesser of the other champions.

I still think he's a brilliant fighter, he's very good at what he does, but he is not as good as Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.

    Dillian Whyte
I'm not even going to give him the time of day. What he said is I'm going to get 'absolutely smoked' by David Haye.

He was wrong and why am I going to fight someone in a final world title eliminator, who got knocked out in a British title fight? Why would I fight him when I have got every world champion calling my name? It makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm not going to knock out the best heavyweight in the world outside the champions and then fight a guy who lost for the British title.
    Dream location
I have already fought at my dream location. You know what, I do like the sound of Wembley.

Could I fill Wembley? I don't know. Would enough people want to see me fight at Wembley? I don't know, but I do like the sound of Wembley.
