Never his biggest fan but the man has earned his money fights like ever other great has. It sucks to see them fight lower level but with that much money still up for grabs and no retirement shit needs to happen.

I'm not really interested in the Marquez fight at this stage. A few years back for sure. Now it would resemble the Martinez bout with Marquez carrying serious injuries; not to mention his inactivity. If it does happen anything over 147 would be pointless. He should be targeting Bradley
I'd call it a near circus event if Marquez was to be carted in off forever layoff, injury and against a guy who fought at middleweight. Well kind of middleweight but still. The play up would be more "Mexican-Puerto Rico rivalry" based on names alone than actual meaningful and competitive match up respectfully. I'd rather see legends build and gear up for one last relevant high championship level go than just watch them wandering in shadows simply to cancel each other out.
Cotton vs Khan might be a good money fight for both.
Agreed but a man better be focused on his kids and a plan B from the start. These fells won the Mayweather and Manny sweepstakes also. If anything Cotto has been afforded all the time and profitable scenarios he could ever hope for to be honest. Far more than most. He's fine. It's Marquez being shopped around as a scalp to make him look good. Marquez was fighting a CW with a torn up Spr. lightweight in Alvarado last out and no doubt promotion is counting on him needing the coin, or chasing the glory. Purely on size and time away it would be a farce imo. Years ago I remember talk of pension plans, regulations and some Federal oversight for fighters who keep plugging on as opponents just to pay the bills..guess in a way don't we all..but we're not taking punches. It's a damn shame really, especially for Marquez who was so under the radar early in career but one of the top fighters in the game even then.
JMM is retired and has been for years. It would be ridiculous for him to make a comeback.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
thing that makes Cotto JMM not very interesting is that the loser is in a no better or worst situation and where does the winner go?
if cotto has any ambition to become a champion the best he can do is beat a couple of young unbeaten prospects, KO them
and change is Alias to something good
what is Cottos Alias?
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
