Love Quigg when he is in the zone and unloading. Think the best is yet to come from him.

I've heard rumors that Wlad has looked poor in training. I hope it's just a ploy to catch Joshua off guard.

Don't mean to be a cynical bastard but i'm waiting day by day for this to be called off, Wlad to pull out. For a geezer with Wlad's poise/stature this seems like an out of character risk - away fighter, underdog, inactivity, terrible last performance etc. just can't imagine that he'd risk being remembered for getting stretched out in Wembley.

Why is Wlad taking the fight? Those sparring sessions must be vital. Witnesses said - "Joshua did well for a novice," "Joshua learned a lot," "Joshua was competitive for a few rounds" probably translates to Joshua got whooped.

Wlad may be so confident that he can win back the titles quickly and is happy to be given the opportunity rather than waiting at the back of the queue.

    Out of character risk?

When Wlad is down and out, he's not opposed to taking the biggest risk out there to prove himself. When he fought Sam Peter it was thought of at the time to be the toughest match and most dangerous for him to take.

Maybe he's cautious IN the ring, but making fights? Dude has always at least attempted to fight the toughest out there for him to fight.

It's the last roll of the dice for Wlad and i think win or lose he retires, it's THE only Massive and last payday he can get in one of the biggest Heavyweight fights the world has seen in years and years crowd wise.
Like him or Loathe him he will go down in Heavyweight history due to the length of his reign and number of fights regardless if a good amount of opponents were not worth a wank compared to proper Heavyweights from years gone bye.

Would love to know what AJ and Wlad are getting paid for this as it's gotta be an insane amount of money that surely will surpass what Froch and Groves got paid in either of their fights.

Huge fight but more importantly a Brilliant matchup as we know AJ is gonna come to KO him unlike Fury who used mind games and oddball Boxing tactics in an absolute borefest. The Media Hype will be starting to snowball soon and we already have a decent Quigg fight on the undercard.

This is THE Heavyweight fight the world has waited years for.
I'd be genuinely gutted if Wlad pulled out of this but do fully believe AJ is gonna put a serious beating on him and go on to be a multiple belt holder and finally meet Fury for all the marbles which again only happens at Wembley infront of another 90,000 fans.
Infact AJ v Fury would be even bigger as Fury would Market the whole thing himself

Pretty much exactly as you have it....only I think Wlad still has something left in the tank, we'll see.

I don't really think it's fair to judge Wlad's competition during his reign as poor though he could only fight who was there and the ONLY other title holders during the time he was champ that he didn't fight were either his Brother (again, stupid to call for them to fight each other) and the WBA title holders before Haye: John Ruiz and Nicolay Valuev who simply did not want to fight Wlad.

If AJ wins then it may be his era for a long time, but fame can have a great impact on an individual....great can mean good and it can mean bad, look at Tyson Fury, look at what fame did to him, not even 1 single title defense, laughable. I sincerely hope the best for AJ he's a good kid, classy fighter.

Froch said Alarm was suffering depression which may have been the reason Wlad performed poorly in his last fight against Fury. He was sitting next to the sky gimp who was smirking about the ppv buys it will make so not sure if it is true or even relevant.
