Believe what you believe!!! hahaha Hatton Kostya was a great performance.
And I'm not going to go into the little iddy iddy bitty details, all you have to do is watch the fight!
I've seen the fight, and I wouldn't call Hatton's performance "great" by a longshot. I had Hatton up by one round (two wouldn't be crazy) at the time Tszyu threw in the towel. Kostya did not look great, and it came out afterward that he fought the whole fight with a shoulder injury which required major surgery soon after. Obviously, Hatton could only fight the guy in front of him, and he fought the right tactical fight to do that (though IMO, he should have been given warnings and then possibly multiple point deductions for all the holding and hitting and leading with the forehead--which would have actually put Tszyu ahead on my card). But it wasn't a top-form Tszyu, and a fairly dirty victory over a less-than-top Tszyu does not an elite fighter make.
CC man.

This whole argument started because I say that Hatton is elite.

Sure I'd pick Castillo over him, BUT Hatton is still elite.
CC back. For me, Hatton has yet to reach elite status, but could do so with a great performance against Castillo--wouldn't even necessarily need to win (which I agree he probably won't).
