Americans hate british fighters. Why?

One reason why I dislike or hate most UK fighters is that all the Brits on here completely overhype them, and throw BS decisions, and any success at all from a UK fighter in Americans faces. Also its frustrating when guys like Hatton and Calzaghe NEVER fight out of their home country, or rarely their home city. I freely admit that I dislike Calzaghe, Hatton, and Hated NAZ. I'd say I grew to respect Lennox Lewis, and sorta like Scott Harrison, he is a warrior. It's just that Brits love to shove close or BS decisions in our faces and exaggerate a good UK fighter, when a good UK fighter occasionally hits it big. I remember how many Brits were pretty much guranteeing that Robin Reid was gonna kick Jeff Lacy's a**, then when he was crushed, they all disapeared until Lacy vs Calzaghe, then came back to once again rub it in Americans faces. It just seems like UK fans are...just snobbish bastards for the most part.

whoa whoa whoa. WE overhype our fighters.....when Lacy came over here for the Calzaghe bout, all the american pundits and press were telling us that Lacy was a world-beater and would trounce Calzaghe with his big hits. And as for rubbing it in your faces, surely we were just celebrating a deserved win and comprehensive performance by Calzaghe. And if there is a case of overhyping in recent months, then it has to be Hasim Rahman, who everyone was saying would beat Maskaev, yet fell short of the mark, despite having no bigger victories on his record than Monte Barrett in recent years.
The overhyping issue is one that may work both ways, and that is why we always hgave to take any american boxers reputation with a pinch of salt, simply there are just so many bums who just get beaten to boost records and make others look good doing the rounds in America. And yes, I am a snobbish B******....but not when it comes to my boxing

And if anyone does a comprehensive survey of boxers....I bet there is a higher percentage of Brits who have fought on other shores compared to Americans who have left their homeland to fight.

Yeah, well the truth hurts doesn't it my dear British Snob?! You truly think that there is more money to be had in the UK, more big fights, and more great fighters over there than here in the States? Yeah, forget Las Vegas, MSG, and Atlantic City, ALL big fights should be held in Manchester!!! Gimme a F****** break...

Why are they held in Manchester then? I didn't say that all of the big fights and money where in the UK... they a certaintly all not in the USA, you're just too ignorant to realise this...

I didn't say ALL fights should be in the US either, but about 80% of all big fights take place in the United States. I wonder why NAZ and Hatton decided to finally come over here huh? I wonder why Winky mande peanuts fightin in Europe, but the big bucks and the big fights over here? Because the vast majority of super fights are over here. Aside from Hatton and Calzaghe who do you have? Woods and Harrison, maybe, but thats it.
