Stevenson is about 50 ain't he? If he thought he was capable he would be begging for Kov & Ward for the final few pay days. He knows he's not in their class and he's picking up what he can. Fonfara might even be too much.

Adonis is a fraud and faker/coward. He was lucky to catch Dawson after Ward ruined him, and Cloud after Hop ruined him. The comparison to Canelo was spot on, both clowns get in the ring with their divisions' number one fighter, talk tough, and then run like cowards in a different direction.
My hope is that both Canelo and Stevenson suffer upset losses and learn that it is easier to remain relevant losing to a GGG or Kov than lesser fighters like JCC Jr., and/or Fonfara. Adonis is so old, and has had such a long lay off that I give Fonfara a decent chance to pull off the upset in the rematch.
He should be fighting Joe Smith if anything not the guy that Smith demolished. And what about Alvarez? How long are the WBC going to keep him hanging? I'm surprised Stevenson hasn't been cashed out against Beterbiev yet.

Yvon Michel promotes both Stevenson and Beterbiev I think. With all the trouble Artur was having to get an eliminator for the IBF it might have been easier to just match the two. Plus I would have thought Beterbiev has more upside than Stevenson.
Eleider Alvarez is the mandatory to Stevenson's WBC belt. He took step aside money so that Stevenson could face Monaghan. That fight fell through so I guess the Fonfara rematch is now the step aside fight. Alvarez has been mandatory since November 2015 after beating Chilemba. Funnily enough Alvarez' fight with Bute was a second eliminator although Alvarez was already the mandatory.
