and he threw loads of punches, has there ever been a HW that has thrown as many in a fight

im not sure he did have a weak chin, I just don't think he was that bothered about protecting it, always trying to land his punches first

Hide may have had greater success as a Cruiserweight. He had big power but it was also his vulnerability. He would over commit with his right. If it didn't land or his opponent could take it he was in trouble.

Hide's book is pretty good read, he said himself he was too small at the weight but manager and promoter wanted him to fight at the weight to make the most money. He made over $3miilion against Bowe and $250,000 for every defence Bowe made after he beat him.
