11th april 2009 there was a half decent card in vagas

paul Williams v winky wright, areola v mccline, danny Garcia

I tho watched the british card topped by Craig Watson v John O'Donnell

O'Donnell was tipped to go on to bigger better things and Watson was well respected but had kind of found his level

in my opinion Watson clearly won but O'Donnell was given the decision, Watson went on to win a rematch which I don't remember happening

Oscar just about won this fight it was close but shows you the balls of him to take on the best welterweights one after the other. Shame as a promoter he does not do the same with Canelo.

What Lopez should have been, had he not gone up in smoke. Never realized Loughran called it a day right after?

Jose Luis Lopez was a very talented fighter who you would have thought would have been a star in boxing. He gave Ike Quartey hell.

I was just reading one of those "the best I fought " pieces with Yori Boy Campos. He rates Lopez above Trinidad and Oscar.

    Holy war!!!!

Hearns could not have boxed and move at the end, when the ref made the doctor check Hagler's cut, Hagler was on him like a lion.

Chavez in the 130-135 neighborhood tends to be a pretty underrated force. Great placement on shots

JCC would have destroyed the tall southpaw Indongo that beat Burns over the weekend in similar fashion. Brutal body shots and right hands with relentless pressure.
