Gamboa and Castellanos in 1st. Gamboa still built like a brick shithouse. Castellanos lands a few straight rights already. It's all mental for Gamboa nowadays..he's stuck between styles

Gamboa doing that slappy grab thing he does. Teddy ripping him on flawed technique and stating obvious. Castellanos very composed early and getting better in 2nd. Man Gamboa just got caught with big right and just stands there . Have to remember this kid won a world trinket at 12-10 and had several defenses

Gamboa coming out caveman style in 3rd. Stick with what brought you to the stage man. Leave the backfoot boxing to backfoot boxers

Same shot..different round. Gamboa dropped and looks discouraged. He looks toast and legs done early 4th

Gamboa on heart and instinct. Literally reeling in the wind but steading end of round. Corner tells him to not just stand there . Deep hole and he needs to get respect immediately.

Teddy spot on about Gamboas early push. Slower 5th and Gamboa looking like he at least has some idea. Not a bad round for him.

Gamboa was going to be one of my favourite fighters. He was truly skilled and was going to be a super star. Just a shame.

Man, fighter after fighter you are wrong about "skilled", I don't think you know what the word means. Not saying this to insult, but because you know boxing well enough to know who is skilled. Gamboa got by on physical talent, his weakness was not developing skill.

OK but he had the potential to be a skilled professional fighter.

Yes. Same here. I had high hopes for Gamboa, but it seems he turned into a Joan Guzman.

Joan Guzman could avoid getting hit
