Sorry but this just doesn't add up.
Comey, whether anyone admits it or not, helped out Trump big time just prior to the elections by renewing the investigation into Hillary's emails. Comey was praised by Trump at the time. All of a sudden, Comey's doing a shitty job and gets fired barely 100 days into the Presidency. .... and I guess we're not to think this has anything to do with the ongoing investigation into Russia involvement or meddling in the election.
It's tough as Trump gets harder and harder to defend, I gather.
I seem to recall.....

It doesn't matter, Lyle. Dems could form a picket line from NY to LA, joining hands and chanting leftist songs... and it wouldn't matter one bit as far as Trump is concerned, which is just fine. So we're not talking Dems here. We're talking about an abrupt about-face by Trump on a guy who he very recently lavished praise onto, and who was at least partly to blame for Hillary not being elected. Which before you react, is still a good thing. I may not like nor trust Trump.... but I sure as hell didn't want Hillary either. But this latest action and the timing leaves a lot to be desired. His people are having to scramble to explain it away. The only thing that sticks out like an elephant in the room is the Russia investigation. So does this mean part of the job interview for new FBI Director may include a question about whether or not the candidate would pursue such an investigation? Smells like fish.
