That was a fun fight. Muranaka gave everything he had. Kal just the better man. Kal should win clear but it was grueling at times. That's the sort of fight he needed.

    UD Yafai

Cards were a bit wide in my opinion.

Thought Yafai was exposed a bit tonight, he don't like it to the body and looked uncomfortable not controlling the pace, his power dropped noticeably after a few rounds too and Muranaka although one tough cookie was fighting beyond his best weight class.

    Two excellent fights.

Although Yafai was the clear winner (not as wide as the scorecards) Muranaka was beyond hard. The fight was like Morales-McCullough, the more talented harder hitter had to give up trying to out-muscle the relentless granite punching machine to rely on some slicker skills, but was never given a second to coast.
Although a big jump in class I'd give Yafai a go at Choco because he'll have a good natural size advantage. Inoue, Rungvisai, Cuadras - what a division. The casual/non-supernerds don't care but a whole host of South American, Japanese and Filipinos that make for great fights.

Sam Eggarito is impossible to not like. Never in a dull fight, rock-solid, heavy-handed, balls, is aware of his limitations. Terrific highlight reel chinage to seal a close-ish fight. Stick him in with Broner

Best thing about Eggington is that I don't think he even realises that he is a boxer.

Someone is missing a trick by not getting him and Flanagan to co-host a talk show together

Sam Eggerton is 23 going on 43. No way can he stay in the game too long taking punches like that every single fight with the calibre getting better each time. Hope he makes a bucket load of money before he retires. The man truly deserves it.

Is this Sam Eggerton related in anyway to Kell Brooks, or are they both fictional boxers that you have created?
