Cory Spinks calls out Felix Trinidad

I'm not even speculating about the fight, I just think its delusional of Cory and a waste of time to call out a retired guy who ALMOST certainly (I say almost cause I guess nothing like this is totally certain) won't come back for the fight. Its just an odd move, call out Mosley, call out any of the 154 pounders or an active 160 pounder.

Oh please. Nobody thought that Wright would keep Trinidad away. Realise that Tito as great as he was can't walk through everything thrown at him. I've loved Trinidad ever since I saw him blasting out Maurice Blocker.

Anyway why is everyone calling Spinks crazy? He actually has a shot and style to beat Trinidad. Whats all the hate? When a fighter calls out a fighter that he can easily beat you call them a coward, but when they call out a superstar that is a HUGE threat then you call them insane and bash them. Instead, he calls out Trinidad, who is retired, as if Trinidad's going to come out of retirement to fight a schmuck like Spinks, who brings nothing to the table payday-wise (yes, the fight would make some money, but only because it's Trinidad; Trinidad would make the same money fighting my grandfather). There's nothing bold about what Spinks is doing--he's just talking shit to make a name for himself and waste some time while he's busy not rematching the guy who was generous enough to give him a title shot he didn't deserve. Spinks knows nothing will ever come of this.

first off... he failed (YES FAILED) To beat mayorga!! and even if it is on his record and he wants to say he beat him... its was still close to call it a secure win!
tito destroyed mayorga!!....
second of all spinks is an idiot this must just be for publicity becuase he must know tito would not come out of retirement just to maike average money putting spinks in hospital, and at the same time if he was serious about a step up in mahor competition he'd call out oscar , which is also very unlikely but has more chance then a fight with tito.
i mean he got beat by judah and if he expects to fight tito im assuming he wants it at light mid cos he holds a title... and at light mid he doesnt stand a single chance, i would say knockout bout round 5
think he'd prob get hurt in the first round run for a few and then get crippled before the mid rounds came..

so fair enough, mayorga might not have been a complete middlewieght!!
but then again tito isnt great at middlewieght either!! if it had of been at 147 it would have had the same...!! i mean yeh it must have been solid for tito to grind himself down to 147 but his power was incredible at welter...
i think given the circum stances mayorga gets stopped at about the same time!!...
the wieght didnt change mayorga's style or anything...maybe his power, and maybe it was a bad idea to step up to 160 cos he probably didnt train like crazy just a little bit and let himself naturally put on some of the wieght and jus didnt have to work as hard to take his natural wiehgt back off...
they both have the power back at 147 but instead of ric lasting out the fight it doesnt happen earlier like it might be expected to cos he had a better chin at 147 but tito hits harder at this wieght and it jus kinda counter acts the bout into the same ending..
also my point about the mayorga-spinks fight was that ricardo would ahve won ifr there had been knockdowns and taken points counted etc....
but realy the ergument isnt bout spink - mayorga
its really jus a plain fact about tito bieng out of spinks' league and it bieng a stupid proposal!!
