Its just a joke all around. You got Oquendo, drug cheat, shouting from his glass house that he wants VADA testing to ping Briggs who he suspects of drug cheating. You've got Ortiz, drug cheat, mouthing off that he wants his go at Joshua. Ortiz is awesome, fails a test, semi mounts a defence case based on contaminated horse meat, then decides he'll be back in the ring quicker if he just takes it on the chin.
Someone, clearly not the WBA though who seem to endorse drug taking, has got to ban these cunts for life.

Is anyone surprised about this? The sad thing is had Briggs fought anyone else who wasn't at least a known guy in the division he would have gotten away with pole axing some poor guy who wasn't all geared up. It's dangerous for an already dangerous sport.

It could get worse. I'm not sure how quickly Ortiz (injured), Wlad (just fought) or Ustinov (just fought) can get back in the ring. That could leave a fantastic match-up between Oquendo and Charr for the vacant title.

Man. This is just embarrassing. So the guy who has shown he cannot really compete with top cruiserweights now gets advanced to compete with top heavyweights. Half the time it seems more about making 'promotion friendly' and easy matches than it does making fan friendly matches. Briggs needs to shut up and go join some backyard wrestling promotion. I don't mind Flores in the non heavyweight ring because it keeps him off the microphone.
