Thankfully there's a little diversity of thought still around England.....Al (who is apparently to the left of Lenin) seems to agree more with you and me than Beanz or miles.

Tommy Robinson, say what you will of the man but he's unafraid to speak his mind, has a certain take on the situation. Nigel Farage, Ms Hopkins has a take, Milo, PJ Watson, etc....they aren't evil people (though some will whine about that) they just want fair treatment under the law, they want to be protected, but hell even asking or expecting such is now a problem.

    It's funny when....
Celebrating my birthday in Manchester as news of the Manchester Arena bomb broke. The anger is monumental.
For what reason will this ever stop?

Theresa May says such attacks “will not break us”, but her own life is lived in a bullet-proof bubble, and she evidently does not need to identify any young people today in Manchester morgues. Also, “will not break us” means that the tragedy will not break her, or her policies on immigration. The young people of Manchester are already broken – thanks all the same, Theresa. Sadiq Khan says “London is united with Manchester”, but he does not condemn Islamic State – who have claimed responsibility for the bomb. The Queen receives absurd praise for her ‘strong words’ against the attack, yet she does not cancel today’s garden party at Buckingham Palace – for which no criticism is allowed in the Britain of free press. Manchester mayor Andy Burnham says the attack is the work of an “extremist”. An extreme what? An extreme rabbit?
In modern Britain everyone seems petrified to officially say what we all say in private. Politicians tell us they are unafraid, but they are never the victims. How easy to be unafraid when one is protected from the line of fire. The people have no such protections.

Yes @El Kabong of course Al is keenly aware and seeing things realistically for what they are. It goes without saying, but good you mentioned Al so as to be 100% clear in that: AL IS A CREDIT AND A GREAT PATRIOTIC ASSET TO HIS COUNTRY AND A GREAT EXAMPLE TO HIS FELLOW COUNTRYMEN.

Contrary to what both you and Lyle keep telling us, there is nothing inherently unpatriotic about being left wing. In fact in this country the majority of the press and media are owned by non tax paying foreign billionaires

    1. Lord Rothermere, a billionaire living in France, owns the Mail, Mail on Sunday, and the Metro.
    2. Rupert Murdoch, a billionaire living in Australia, owns the Sun, Sun on Sunday and is the man behind Fox News, BSkyB, News Corp, etc, etc.
    3. Alexander and Evgeny (son) Lebedev, an Ex KGB Russian Billionaire, owns The Independent, Independent on Sunday, The Evening Standard.
    4. Richard Desmond, a billionaire, owns the Daily Star, Sunday Star, Daily Express, Sunday Express.
    5. David and Frederick Barclay, billionaire brothers living on a private island near Saark, own the Telegraph, The Spectator, and the Business.

So actually subscribing to the crap that these rags publish is far from being patriotic. It's just as daft as believing that Teresa May the supposedly "Strong and Stable " Prime minister is more likely to crack down on extremists or keep us safe. She was the home secretary who cut thousands of front line Police and support teams from our streets. She is also the prime minister who just returned from visiting the Saudis just like Trump.

Just because I do not subscribe to your ill informed outside view in which you think it is fine to share leaked photographs all over the forum and insist people conform to your ideas of what real is, (yeah think about that one) do not presume you can speak for anybody else on the forum.

You know Brockton you were one of them. That is exactly why you have done a 180 now. Some kind of twisted guilt thing. If you are going to mock, be spiteful and derail better to do it in this thread than the Manchester one. Our democracy can handle it on any debate you have little to offer so go ahead knock yourself out but do it here or in your own ranting thread.Don't forget you are the one who insisted that America was no different to ISIS.

That is a pathetic and generalized attempt to say that I changed my position. I never changed my position on the Iraq invasion that is a different position than the one I have against these people now who are doing what they do period I also said that Obama and Clinton created Isis so how can you be against Trump if he wants to wipe them out now?

Morrissey mentioned Theresa May (your favorite....excuse me favoUrite!) specifically and she's up for what office again It was hardly an apolitical statement @Beanz and is certainly relevant since a fair few people are discouraged about the terrorist attack and elections being the means to peaceful political change I saw it as a worthy post but hey I guess you want to be a cunt about it soooo have at it
