The humour was such a big part of his performance. Never really understood Connery's appeal, thought Brosnan was neither one thing or the other but really think Craig has nailed it in making the role his own which is what you have to do.Moore made other work but he just is Bond for so many of us. No no no no.....

Craig is absolutely a HORRID Bond.

James Bond used to be this debonair, intelligent, savvy secret agent who defeated his foes with his wits, as well as his force. Connery did it, and so did Moore. Craig is all about brute force, acrobatics, athleticism, etc. He's gotten fooled by women (a huge "no-no"), almost poisoned, beaten the crap out of, in fact... the antithesis of a Bond. That signature line "The name's Bond..... James Bond" does not fit Craig, like it used to fit Connery and Moore.

Which brings me to the inevitable task of ranking the Bonds.
    For my money:

    1. Connery
    2. Moore
    3. Brosnan
    4. Dalton
    5. Craig
    6. Lazenby

Bond was a stoic, heavy drinker, masochist, loner. Hence why Daniel Craig is the best Bond.

I know you like him because he's a Red

To be quite honest the main dude who really deserved a shout as BOND and not the villain he ended up playing was SIR Christopher Lee, but he was too menacing....brilliant actor that dude, great bad guy.

Alan Rickman should have gotten the chance to play a Bond villain

My wife and I stayed in a nice hotel one time and James Bond was in the room next door , clearly we heard the lady shout Roger More.
