Yeah it would seem like a natural choice.. Couple things I could think of being that Hearns has still been actively fighting, don't know if he plans to again but I know Emmanuel Steward implored him not to return to the ring several years ago when Hearns did want him back in his corner.. Maybe that's thrown off the relationship a bit, or Hearns is bitter about it.. Also, I haven't seen Ronald Hearns, but it's quite possibly Manny would just realize he doesn't have anywhere near the potential his dad did, and with no amatuer career, only 9 fights, and 27 years of age.. It might not be a good choice.
