In other words, Haye is going back to Miami to train where he did for Bellew. Looked lovely.

If he doesn't get the Bellew rematch i don't know that now after the Bellew loss he'll still be able to do his usual magic trick of leaping straight into the deep end of the division.
I mean where has that Bellew defeat left him rankings wise these days?

He can still pull in massive viewing figures but he must surely be on his last chance now and he looked way off against Bellew even before the injury, wild swinging punches that were missing by a mile.

I just don't see much of a future for him really.

Yeah he looked poor in his comeback exhibitions but could mask it by natural weight gain (being a stone slower) and rustiness.

Against Bellew he looked totally shot from the off, the fact he turned into long john silver has given him an out. Like all fighters that are blessed with superior speed, power and reflexes once they lose a step they're fucked as they're reduced to having a 6-9 minute clumpers chance.

The lack of technique was shocking. When he first flirted with the heavies and twatted Ruiz and that bloke Audley Harrison fought, his right hand looked other Worldly, he looked like he could land three of them on the bounce before the other bloke could blink. Against Bellew he looked no better than a pub tear up merchant. Even when his leg went, the lack of technique was appalling. Absolutely zero nous when it came to fighting in spots and up close.

Yeah he didn't look anywhere near the old Haye and i think fighting on emotion/anger and not boxing Bellew didn't do him any favours.

Bellew has just made this statement and Haye surely has no other option than to take it.

Tony Bellew has named his terms for a David Haye rematch.....

He (Bellew) said: “I will fight him as long our deal is reversed.
“So he’s got to take the deal that I took for the first fight. That is the only way the fight’s happening. There is no debating. There are no negotiations to take place. He’s got to flip the deal round and it’s as simple as that. That is the only way the rematch is happening and if he doesn’t then so be, I’ll fight Joseph Parker for the heavyweight championship of the world.”
Bellew had predicted that Haye’s body would fail him in their heavyweight clash, after spending two years out of the ring, and when the London fighter’s Achilles was injured in the sixth round Bellew was proven correct.
But Haye reportedly took home £1.4 million more than Bellew despite the loss.
If there is a rematch it’s fair to say there will definitely be interest, with promoter Eddie Hearn saying it’s the biggest payday out there. Don’t be surprised if we get Bellew v Haye II before the end of the year.

I love how Bellew thinks he's going to waltz into a fight with Parker. Sicknote is still mandatory and even if he swerves yet another title fight, probably because he cant get his hair to sit right, Parker will still need someone from the top 15 no?

Bellew has no real options, no matter what he says he does not want to fight again and especially at heavyweight. I think Bellew would retire than fight anyone else including Parker.

Haye, could easily fight pub fighters again on Dave and get back to physical fitness as he is on no mad rush. Haye could easily work himself to another title.

I think Haye v Bellew will happen with a 50/50 split.

David Haye could still make quite a bit of money......not boxing.

If Haye was to keep in shape, learn a bit of grappling, stay with me now.....he's got the mouth, the charisma, and the look of a professional wrestler. I think he could do well in that field, not to say he can't or shouldn't fight as a boxer anymore, I'm just saying he's burned too many bridges doing boxing, he talked and talked and talked and didn't deliver and so no boxing fan is buying his bullshit anymore, now with wrestling he could handle that I think.

I think in pro wrestling or acting and he could do very well for himself but that's just my take.

Really a guy like Kimbo Slice would have been better suited to do the WWE and talk, and grapple, and so on especially at his age (He was 34 when he signed with EliteXC) than go to MMA and get found out immediately.
