The judge put in charge of the Grenfell public Inquiry has already said he does not think the inquiry will go far enough

The retired judge heading the inquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire says he is "doubtful" the process will be as wide-ranging as some residents hope.
Sir Martin Moore-Bick said the probe could be limited to the cause, how it spread, and preventing a future blaze.
He was speaking after travelling to the site of the fire in North Kensington and meeting some of the survivors.
Some Grenfell residents have said they were unhappy at not being involved in Sir Martin's appointment.
They have also previously told how they raised fire safety concerns for several years before the fire.
The judge said the fire was an "enormous tragedy and I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that building which is now completely gutted".
Sir Martin said: "I'm well aware the residents and the local people want a much broader investigation and I can fully understand why they would want that.
"Whether my inquiry is the right way in which to achieve that I'm more doubtful and I will give that some thought and in due course make a recommendation."
He added: "But there may be other ways in which the desire for that investigation could be satisfied otherwise through the work that I'm going to do."...

    There should be an inquest

Grenfell Tower residents should demand an inquest rather than a public inquiry to get answers about the tragedy, according to a solicitor who acted for people affected in the 2009 Lakanal House fire.
Sophie Khan said that in an inquest the Government would “lose control” and a jury would be able to deliver its conclusion regardless of whether it was uncomfortable to hear.
In a public inquiry, such as that ordered by the Prime Minister into the fire that killed at least 17 on Wednesday, a minister will set the terms of reference, which guide how the hearings proceed.

Ms Khan told BBC Newsnight: “In an inquest they lose control of what a jury verdict will do. Juries will come out with narrative verdicts which may be very difficult for the Government to hear.
“You can't have both, you can only have one or the other. They [residents] should really be demanding an inquest.
“I'm very concerned as to why Ms May came out so quickly to say, 'public inquiry'. What is there, that she knows, that needs to be hidden?”
She added: “We have to look at the fire assessments because here there is a fire issue as well. It's not just the council we need to look at. What were the fire brigade doing? Refurbishments have been done, what tests did they do on the building?”

No need to even be long winded , I know plenty about building regulations / bs standards / fire safety / and building control.
Its down to the architect to submit plans with a bs standard key for all fire /insulation / electrical ratings etc. If the contractors have not followed them they are liable , if the architect has made an error he is liable , that aside the building inspector should check all details before rubber stamping the building as safe. That my friends is why you pay the fee to building control.
Stinks to me as its taking so long , I feel many people may be for the gallows.
My guess is that the original plans where probably sound , the contactors may have cut corners on fire safety , and the building inspectors have passed it fit as a habitable building .

Not to mention the Council had MORE THAN ENOUGH funds to remedy the situation prior to the blaze...and those being tax funds the citizenry should be well pissed off that their money they EARNED and the fat fucking council members are just sitting on that while receiving MORE taxed money.

But you can't fucking say that because someone might get all angry with the wrong folk....it's the wealthy people who need dealing with, heads on pikes and all that

This is the exact argument that people have been making though Lyle. It's our tax money. Our council tax, our income tax, our national insurance and the Tories in charge, whether that be councillors or MPs, are usually those same double barrelled surname rich aristocrats giving themselves 12% pay rises and then refusing to grant public sector workers (fire brigade, nurses, garbage collectors, state prosecutors, paramedics etc) more than 1%. So the working poors wages do not even keep up with inflation. These same politicians are lobbied by huge corporations with special interests who offer them places on the board and shares etc and so laws are made that again give them huge tax breaks and slack legislation that again punishes the working poor. It's happening in your country too. When huge corporates like Amazon and Google operate like states paying no tax and dictating policy, the flaws in the American model are obvious. Austerity and poor basic services and rights, like the right to not be burned alive for the working man, and pay rises and no tax for the top 1%. It does not make someone a communist to point this out.

Lifestyle choices and nutrition (example how many of you have ever eaten 2 pounds of broccoli and 2 whole HEADS of garlic sauteed in olive oil AT ONE SITTING FOR DINNER? MAYBE NONE OF YOU. BUT DO THAT FOR 6 MONTHS AND IT MAY CURE YOU.) ......are 75% of reason for ALL DISEASE
