That was amusing. Smith is def a huge puncher, but that was a disappointing effort from him unless he suffered some injury I am unaware of. He let Barrera take over after that 1st round.

Yeh he definitely looked like a one trick pony as it went. Liked his movement late and he did manage to rattle Barrera on one occasion down the stretch but didn't put anything together. Actually just read he suffered a broken jaw as early as the 2nd round. The same injury that caused him to 'opt out' in his only other loss. If that's the case is a bit odd he showed no signs or let on in the corner but hey, apparently set for surgery later in the week.

Damn I saw a fan comment something about that on his Instagram but didn't know if his jaw was really broken. If so, then it's as valid an excuse for not pressing as any.
