Although I'm going to Arizona in a couple weeks and I see it's 107 in Phoenix. It's only been 98 here with 90 percent relative humidity so maybe I should consider myself lucky
Also, the heatwaves this year so far have been a shorter duration than last year.

My sister lives in the Middle East .... it was 53 Centigrade yesterday and 98% humidity. Real heat is very tiring and quite dangerous for vulnerable people.
When she visits the UK and it hits 28, though, she says it feels hotter here because we are not set up for it. No aircon, no underground shopping etc.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

It has been very warm here for weeks, upper 80s and low 90s, very low humidity. Now we are back to low 80s, high 70s. Lower to middle 40s at night. A couple weeks ago I was up in the Pioneer Mountains, well over 8000 feet, and it was raining but really wanting to snow.
I feel 35 is the absolute LOWER END of the range where hot actually begins, and in a New England in a machinery-area jacket isn't needed or worn in situations for protection of the extremities he just can't make that shit up. The pair of you pissing and moaning FFS hot means anything over 40°C Lyle is right.
Well it's been in The nineties with 90 percent humidity. I wear a jacket at my mechanics job cause the oil and sprays we use give me a rash. I think the heat is lifting next week hopefully. I don't think my trip to Arizona is well planned I'm hearing it's hitting 110 degrees in Phoenix

Upper 80s... low 90s... very low humidity. Doesn't sound bad at all. Heat waves in parts of the US routinely hit mid to upper 90s, and even reach 100 sometimes. And high humidity in some places make it even worse. Places like New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston to name a few... have all seen that. Down here in P.R. it's a pretty hot summer also. We're closer to the equator, so we get the harsher sun rays. What helps us is two things: The ocean breezes from the Northeast (at least in the corner of the island where I live), and the fact that being an island tends to moderate the temperatures somewhat. It could be super sunny outside in the middle of summer and the hottest it usually gets is mid 90s. Beach weather.![]()
Tito these white boys can't take it, their necks get red.
