Would have been a hell of a fight with Freitas and Chavez would too, hopefully he doesn't just end up out of the picture.
I will always hold "POPO" in the highest of reguards... What a fighter... Going out when he did... although I was looking forward to the Diaz bout. He went out @ the end of the top of his game... When Jorden should have went out, and Hearns should have went out, and Holyfield, and... well you get the idea... He will have a legacy that, although is not a Hopkinsesk legacy... It is his own... and his alone. He was a great. Not an all time... But one to be remembered. As much as I think he has alot left...... Stay retired my friend.... You have alot of facits to scifin off of. All true fight fans should respect his choice and hope he stays retired........
Yea for sure, it's his life... I just kind of wonder what suddenly changed his mind, why he wen't so far towards making that fight with Diaz.. And Hearns, Holyfield, and Jordan(in that order) achieved so much more then he could ever dream of. Although I know you weren't saying otherwise.
