There was a lot more shady shit going on with Miranda's side of the fight than Abrahams.

It's funny that no one's really mentioning the fact that Miranda nailed Abraham after the bell twice at the end of the second round. Miranda was either right on the belt...or just below it on many occasions throughout the fight...but honestly...I think that fight was pretty close down the stretch.

Oh!! shity!!! your right not only was Miranda fighting dirrty!!! but I had forgotten about the two rds. he continued punching AFTER the bell.
Really looking at this IMO it seems that Miranda knew he couldn't beat Abraham the right way so he already had a plan in mind to rey and do whatever it takes to win this fight.
CC. # 2215 for bringing up that very important point in the fight.

I think that calling a punch on the belt line low is ticky tacky at best, as good as these guys are they cant pinpoint exactly where the punch is going to land. I have always felt that a quality low blow is below the belt line, on the belt line is close (worth a warning) but not a point deduction, imo.
A low blow is considered a blow landed BELOW the belly button.... This rule should be changed cause how the fwock!! is a ref. gonna determine if your landing below the belly button if you can't see. They should change this to below the belt line.
Most refs. assume the belly button is midway of the belt line depending on how the fighter is wearing his trunks.
Regardless if you watch the blows in slow motion like I did you can clearly see they were right on the bottom line of the belt line and according to the refs. instructions that was considered low.

CMM if that is true then Vargas hit Oscar low 50 times
    If whats true?
    The low blow rule?
    Wait... Don't you know this?
Its an official rule a blow landed below the belly button is considered a low blow. I would like to think that you would know this... A bit confused here

In the end...with this fight...I never saw more than 10 shots that I actually considered low or wondered about.

CMM explained it better than I did. In general the trunks at worn at the waist (Oscar seems to be the exception) that would put the belt line right at the belly button or just below. Sorry my first explanation wasnt very clear, I will try to be better about that.

I would have to agree with the majority of you guys here,in that Abrahams' camp is full of nonsense, more so than Miranda's camp. I also believe that Abraham haD NOOOOOO intention of continuing, look at hia face, his body language when the ref said he wanted to stop it,he didn't look adamant or anything. HIS CORNER wanted it to continue! I think Miranda should have had it there. I was dissappointed that Edison didn't do more but I still think he won. He was the effective agressor, and I'd love to see punch stats for the fight.
