Didn't Margarito and Cotto wear 8oz gloves for their first fight? Cotto and De La Hoya made Floyd wear big gloves if my memory serves me.

154 used to have the option betweeon 10 or 8 I believe. Cotto/Margarita 1 definitely would have been in 8s because it was at 147
For some strange reason McGregor thinks with smaller gloves it will halve the time he sparkos Floyd.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Yeah, he said he'll do it in four in 10oz gloves
And it'll only take two if he's wearing 8oz gloves
Apparently 2oz equal two rounds in Conor's world.
He actually believes he's going to shock the world
And show us all something new. I thought he was here to get paid
But he actually believes what he says (I think) and that's worse.
I saw him working the heavybag and it was fucking embarrasing
He had his hands low and his head high and he was dancing around the bag
I don't think he expects to get hit back and he's in for a shock.
How many punches has he actually taken in his career?
Wonder how he'll respond to getting hit 40 times per round
This fight is not going the distance!
Floyd will wait and tire Conor out and slowly take him apart. Even Olympic boxers who have trained for years do not start their boxing career with a 12 round contest and they are super fit. What chance has someone who has never boxed before? None. It is absurd.
Floyd should be ashamed of himself.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
I can't blame Floyd because he never asked for it.
Conor called him out and gave him the chance to make a lot of money
If I was in Floyd's shoes I'd take an easy payday (who wouldn't)
Lomoanchko started with a 12 round fight didn't he?
I think Katsidis went 12 rounds in his second fight
I don't think the distance will be a problem.
His problem is he's not used to getting hit
And he'll get hit a lot in this fight. His defence isn't great
And Floyd is one of the most accurate punchers in Boxing.
If anyone is cheating the fans it's Conor
But I'm sure he'll take a mighty fine beating for it.
