Watched it over n over as it's rather short. Impressive Conor hit him flush with those lefts. Disappointing paulie got caught with them, but it was likely late in the 12 round sparring match (their first match was eight) against a peaking 29-year-old Conor while paulie is out of shape retired announcer. Now, the knockdown looks good at first, but it really was a case of Conor pulling his head down and paulie tripping. Look at Conor's entourage, NO ONE reacts as if it was a knockdown. Paulie insists there was no count given either n he just got up n kept sparring. Keep in mind these sparring matches are treated as a real fight with Joe Cortez in there acting as the referee. I'm looking forward to the 3 minute sparring video that is supppsed to be getting released this weekend. That will tell us more. All told, this looks very good for Conor n like he got the better of this second session. It's delicious hype n I'm loving it.
