Yeah, the Broner fight was nice I'll give him that one
He was a dirty fighter though and whilst it's funny to see him rough up Broner
It's not so funny watching him hit an old legend like Morales on the break.

I'd favour Shawn Porter quite comfortably in this fight.

maidanas power is abit over rated. He landed his best shots flush on amir Khan for 12 rounds and couldn't drop him once. His best win was broner who porter also beat but had the disadvantage of a catchweight.
the stoppage win over Ortiz was also repeated by lazcano, berto, collazo and Floyd and none of those guys were renowned big hitters.
porter had the physical strength to take maidanas heart like Devon Alexander did IMO.

And I can’t remember him ever losing a point in a fight.

Punched on the break and after the bell.

Morales did hurt his reputation failing a test
But he never should’ve been there for that fight
And I don’t think he was a career long cheat
I reckon he was just an old man trying to get an edge.

Morales was master class and a true professional and no one ever mistook Maidana as a Mr. nice guy in the ring. Honestly that fight was classic and could have flipped a coin for winner. Morales was warned for low blows more than once in career. Think one was Raheem that looked near intentional but can't really say I blame him vs a guy running track. His pride got better of him after Bobby Boy ko as he stood over a concussed beaten fighter smiling and posing for photos also. Garcia should have been embarrassed acting like he beat 'the' Morales in that ko. That fight should have been scraped firstly because it was a farce and secondly for the dirty test. Had it not been for promotion last minute lobbying and winks and nods it would have been.
