What a way to make an entrance. Yamanaka was getting a little long in the tooth but was still very highly regarded. His rematch with Moreno was excellent. Cracks had started to appear. Nery is a nice addition to the division. His chin passed a stern test and he's got some pop. The division is slowly heating up. The guy to watch at 118 for me is Emmanuel Rodriguez.

I'm not often a fan of guys who throw such long shots, but his selection is clever. I'm intrigued.

He uses the jab to the body well. And seems to have power in both hands. He hurt Yamanaka with the left & right. A little wild, I thought he was getting reckless at times. He has subtle defensive shifts that impressed me too. Yamanaka was hurt at the end but the constant swarming was going to end it very soon. Yamanaka was still on his feet but had taken some big shots when his corner saved him.

Cheating bastard (Nery) got busted for injecting something (PEDs) they give to cattle to make them superbulls.

Shame shame. Such a big win is now erased. I hate it when this happens

Lets see how the corrupt WBC handles this. They let Francisco Vargas get away with the contaminated meat excuse. What's the bet they let this slide too? Yamanaka should still be undefeated & get his belt back.
