LOL. I was watching that interview and thinking that he should have shaved that shit off.
Pretty raggedy . Like what he said there until Freddy came popping off about Golovkin- Canelo winner. I get it but no need

Kamegai has some chin! Big heart but little skill
Cotto looked good but his opponent was an easy target.
I think Cotto beats Brook, Khan, Thurman and Spence
He'll want a super fight though so he'll be looking at Alvarez
Or Pacquaio again if he can get one of those fights (which I doubt)

Khan yes, Brook maybe. Thurman and Spence likely not. Kamegai was super tough but worst defense I've ever seen. Seriously concerned for his health if he keeps fighting that way.

Crazy talk. There's a reason Cotto didn't go against a champ, he's not that level anymore. Great career but people get older.

Agreed. Cotto is almost done. He is hardly going to going to go after Alvarez after looking so shy in the last fight. Pacquiao would be a fun end of career fight, but the last one was very one sided. Pac has slipped more than Cotto though and Cotto is comfortable at SMW. Not sure the fight could be made without draining Cotto and you don't want to do that at 36. The young 'uns would eat him up at this stage. A new generation is calling.

Yeah I loved cotto but he should retire now. He was unloading and I didn't see him wobble Kim. Great career and I will miss him but he needs to sail into the sunset head held high. I will really miss him but he can't and shouldn't fight at the top level. ggg will hurt canelo and worse to cotto. U guys know fuck all about boxing, I am the kellerman of the forum, with a little bit of Bernstein mixed in.

Cotto looked great against a guy that led with his face. It looked like a heavy bag workout. (Side note: Kamegai needs to find another line of work soon, hes due to get brutally knocked out-- anyone else notice how he seemed to freeze when he caught big right hands. I think theres an underlying issue there which represents a huge liability later if he fights someone that doubles up on a right hand)

Anyway, Its hard to see against a guy like kamegai, but Cottos at that point in his career where he cant pull the trigger any more before the window has closed against a young fighter that still has his reflexes. They need to match him carefully against a smaller guy that will come to him and under estimate him or a a kid he can beat on experience. A canelo rematch would probably end the same way it did the first time unless Golovkin damages him somehow. A fight with Golovkin is not so bad if GGG suffers greatly in the canelo fight. Hes slow enough that he could be outworked but power is the last to go and if GGG lands some of the shots that Kamegai did early on. it could be a short night.

Brooks probably there for the taking if you wait till he slows in the later rounds but its not really a nest egg fight. Spence isn't worth the money. I think he could take the younger less talented charlo, with his experience and heart but there is some liability.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I am sure Eddie and sky can persuade Cotto with ppv to come over here and face Brook.
