Didnt even look the fight, I knew it would be boring and the issue is absolutely not surprising. Thanks god, now the freak circus is over, props to Connor for the clever marketing and for daring to swith sport and fight the elite of the game with a very short preparation in the circumstances.

You missed Floyd losing the first 3 rounds and a very exciting fight. Much more competitive then most thought it would be. I question the legitimacy of it all but it was very fun to watch. Good fight.

110 times better than I thought. I don't like to see all those rabbit punches. Not healthy at all but Conor had Floyd on his flat feet. Haven't seen him fight like that before. Conor didn't embarrass himself

Well i must be really drunk. I saw Floyd Play with a guy that shouldn't of even been in the ring with him. Gregory had fucks chance all night at landing anything. He was slow and gassed in rd 3. He landed nuttin on Floyd of any significance.

Mayweather could have knocked him out in round one. But that wouldn't make a good night for all the Irish fans who spent thousands in Vegas and the people around the world who paid money to see the fight on ppv.

We all knew it was a farce. It grabbed our interest for a while but ultimately is was only going one way.

The bookies are laughing at the income. Gregory and Floyd are laughing all the way to the bank.

I am laughing because it panned out just as i predicted apart from what round the stoppage was.

The only people butt hurt are the Fans that actually thought Gregory had a chance ..hahahahamuhahhahamuahhaaahahaha

I don't know if Floyd would volunteer to take those shots. I hate to think it was a fix but im not privy to the inside scoop.

Floyd just couldn't get off punches like he used to and couldn't get away nearly as well. He took shots that he would have easily avoided before. He definitely wanted the knockout so I think he fought a specific way to ensure that it happened

Hulk you are really going mad in your old age. That was pathetic. Floyd could afford to do nothing for 2 rounds. Conor did not land anything meaningful except the rabbit punches. Conor lost through exhaustion and had no legs left at the end.

Not trying to sound like Ron Swanson, but any fans who thought that was a competitive fight are stupid.

McGregors technique was awful, there was no power in his punches from the get go, he landed one nice uppercut on Floyd in the second I think it was but it had no affect whatsoever.
By the 4th round he was done, what power he did have had completely left him.
He lacked the muscle memory needed, that was why he couldn't stop throwing the rabbit punches and kept on working his way behind Floyd and still throwing, I'm not knocking him for that, those sorts of moves are ingrained into him through UFC, he wasn't just trying to learn how to box he had to try and forget years of UFC/MMA.

And the people who have said the stoppage was premature, I disagree, Conor was done, Floyd was landing at will.

I'm just happy that the fight went off without a hitch, no controversy, no surprises, no nothing

Does anyone want to talk about Canelo v GGG

I was completely in the "circus group". But I must say the fight itself was more watchable than I thought it would be. Yes... Floyd probably wanted it to last more than one round, and he had nothing to lose by hanging back and waiting for Conor to tire, which of course he did. But Conor did manage to pop Floyd more than just two or three times during the fight. It's gonna happen when two professional fighters engage.

If anything, it was entertaining watching Floyd going forward on seek and destroy mode probably for the first time in, well........ probably ever.

I had no doubt the whole fight that Floyd would win even when he wasn't throwing in the first few rounds. I was just more surprised that Mcgregor actually landed some decent shots (although they didn't seem to effect Floyd much). Floyd was obviously allowing engagement much more than other fights, but I still didn't think that Mcgregor could land as much as he did. I don't think that Floyd was just letting him hit him.

So no, I don't think that the fight was competitive in the sense that there was any doubt of the outcome, but I think that if Floyd could have avoided every punch and knocked him out cold in the third round that he would have done that.

Floyd should be embarrassed that it went 10 rounds and should immediately refund the money people spent on this event and for letting boxing down.

If people were stupid enough to buy it and if people were stupid enough to stay up and watch it (yes @Master I'm looking at you) then I don't think you have any grounds for complaint.

Especially as you would have complained just as much if he would have KO'd him in the first round.

It is what it is, Floyd is done, just be happy that you won't have to see him fight again and you can allow your obsession to slowly dwindle away and Peter out into nothing more than a painful memory.

Go take the dog for a walk, hug your kids, fly a kite, just go out and do something that will allow you to forget about Floyd for a while.

I was already up watching the Cotto fight.

Think I will hug a dog and walk the kids.
