The past is the past. We're talking about preserving humanity today, in 2017. After those horrible nuclear bombings, there was a concerted global effort to prevent that sort of thing ever happening in the future. And there's been countless military conflicts since WWII..... and there has never been the use of nuclear weapons since then.

You seem misguided, Walrus. I am not happy with how North Korea behaves, but by the same token where is the outrage when your own country just recently tested nuclear weapons? Where is the outrage when bombs fall on Yemen? All I do is point out the double standards and hypocrisy. I am not a fan of the foreign or domestic policy of either country.

I am quite aware what an escalation means and that is why I would prefer to see a sensible outcome. Brocks position is certainly an insane one.

Miles sees no prob at all with NK launching missiles over Japan. He will just deflect it to Libya or some shit. Still no comment about NK launching missiles over Japan. Miles harbours a deep hate for Japan for cutting off 10,000 Korean noses a few centuries back.

These are just the most ridiculously, stupid posts I think I have ever been subjected to. I have been to Japan several times and would consider working there in the future. I love the place. However, they have not been bombed by anyone. It is a fact that they carried out war crimes and occupied nations much as the others continue to do today. However, I respect that they became a nation of peace and built their prosperty on hard work and innovation rather than continuing to oppress and dominate people. In turn I would say that none of you have anything to say about actual bombs that drop on actual people. Deafening silence in fact.
