well i dont know really if there is a exact way to hit it the main object of the floor to ceiling ball is that you hit it with mainly strait shots and hooks and concetrate on putting together combinations on the moving taget and also you have to be alert at where its bounging back to cos those things are lethal...

But like headbanger said, I'm pretty sure it's just to get practice hitting a moving target and about moving to not get hit by said target when it bounces back at you

It's not just a case of throwing rapid one inch punches at it and then a cross... move around it, in and out of range, when you cna throw a one two at it try it whilst moving around and in and out, then try 4 straights... then try adding a hook in then try hitting it with lots of straights, hooks and more straights...

Here is Roy Jones shadow boxing , jumping rope and doing some double end bag work . to give you an idea of what to do

I recommend keeping true to good form , keep your hands up tight and remember defense, don't be as showy as Jones. keep your left hand up, I don't like Roy's form here. the thing is if you practice with the left low, when you in the ring your left will be low. always stay true to proper form on any drill you do. when you get rocked you will revert to what you know, what you have trained to do.

When you've mastered the basics... then you can do all of that posing... though in my book it's still not recommendable...

We had a lad in our gym... he did all of the posturing like Roy Jones etc but his fundamentals just weren't there... waste of talent really... he never listened.

Thats a good way to use it , Lords video clip you can get 6 using it at once great fun. you can play trip up with the guy next to you pushing each other out of the way, its a right nobble great for awareness Lords cc
