Benavidez punches well off his shoulders and frame. Pretty tight 1st but longer cleaner punches for Benavidez. Gavril pretty sturdy staying in range.

2nd fought totally ring center. Gavril rapid to head then body switching up. Benavidez looked a bit smothered close and thinking out loud. Gavril yet to backward step really. 1-1

Gavril really committed to body and Benavidez wide hooks and uppercut that gets in. Gavril backed to ropes and takes a gasp. Benavidez round late 2-1.

Bogus warning from ref on low blows from Gavril. Guy is a good body puncher. Benavidez is a good everything puncher and Gavril looks hurt. Gavrils nose starting to fall apart. Tough as hell though. Well fought pace by both 3-1 Benavidez

Benavidez let up a bit 6th and more jab comes in. Good selection and Gavril with fewer answers as he chugs forward early. Benavidez slowed later, 1 or 2 at a time and lets Gavril in. Looks like swelling around Benavidez eye. Fookin coin flip round. 4-2

I think the rum caught up . 4-3 Benavidez. He will never fight his frame late in fights from the looks of it.

Gavril is a workhorse. Shorter sharper shots in 8th and Benavidez gets to tall or over shoots here and more one at a time now. 4-4 even up pretty good scrap.
