Yeah, I don't understand it. Canelo didn't even prove himself the best at 154 but this is supposed to be the best MW fight? Makes no sense. Canelo will have to be better than he's ever been to compete. Or GGG will need to have slipped a bit.

This card tonight is where it's at
I've begrudgingly come around to Canelo at middle as size on fight night is obvious. Then there's the trinket from Cotto who 'beat the man' yadda yadda. But you simply cannot take a title won with CW conditions serious imo. Hell some titles you cannot take serious at all . Fact is the fight is here though and a win changes everything for Canelo and gets him that respect. I honestly think Golovkin looked not so stellar vs Jacobs but respect to Jacobs and seriously needs to up his output next week. It's a good fight and I'll def be front row but not the be all to end all for sport at least to me. Should Canelo pull it off the belts splinter and I in no way see him facing Jermall Charlo or even Derevyanchenko. Sanders-Monroe jr winner..yeh.

What makes this card so great are each fight has it's own anticipated story and winners of all three very much have a future as yet more big matches vs one another. Gonzalez looks to right a 'wrong' and reset his shine. Inoue in a very anticipated Stateside debut and mass exposure that comes with and Cuadras v Estrada is a headliner in itself. Fly and super fly get very little stage to begin with and this deserves it.

Back acne is de rigeur for a lot of fighters these days it seems. I'm guessing no VADA testing of this card.

Haven't seen the result yet and I'm dying a little bit, last night ended up in a monumental session.

Just had a subway breakfast and now I'm gunna get my head down for an hour and then watch the replay on sky sports...that is if my hangover doesn't kick in before that.

In fact I'm going to get my head down for an hour and then crack a can and have a drink whilst watching it, I reckon that is the safest bet.

Cuadras v Estrada was a cracking fight, I had it a draw with Cuadras having a handy lead. Why he kept on going southpaw and being so erratic I do not know but it cost him the fight.

The wrong scoring at the end was a joke.

Hell of a card that lived up to all expectations.

Cuedras - Estrada was very competitive early but for me Estrada figured Cuedras out and just outworked the guy in the accuracy of shots landed. He never let Cuedras reset and should have won a bit wider on the cards (once Buffer had sorted it out )

I want to be a bit wary claiming along with many others that Inoue is something special this early, but though Nieves is not the stoutest of measuring sticks you can't really pick a lot of holes in his short career so far. He is a spiteful hitter that never relies on one shot or his favourite punch and so represents real danger to anyone at the weight. Amazing variety and a fight with Srisaket could be a modern classic.

Choco never looked like he really believed he won the first fight here tonight and he was made to look like very average for somebody with his kind of portfolio. A combination of age, lack of desire and being mentally shot with the most important factor being Srisaket's self belief and determination to fight his own fight. It was so one sided that you would have to conclude that Choco's head was somewhere else for large parts of it and ended up looking like a very watery Ovaltine come the end. Tempted to say great finishing skills by Srisaket but not sure a lot of other top class operators are going to be quite that open for it.

Brilliant though unexpected end to a great trio of fights with no filler to water them down. Class.

I like the fight. I just don't like the notion it is the best vs the best. GGG has work to do with Jacobs to prove who is best between those two and Canelo has done absolutely nothing to prove he is the best at MW.

But tonights card is off to a blistering start as we knew it would be. And like you said no matter the outcomes it leads to other great fights.

Estrada huge 7th, good 5th but Cuadras did great work early rounds. Pretty good fight!

Cuadras looked fucked a couple of rounds ago but he's come back a bit. Did HBO really give him five out of the first six rounds?

Estrada has looked the most likely to score a ko/kd, didn't even go for the finish though. Savvy.

Huge shot while HBO is busy making Cuadras into SRL. Estrada behind but he's been touching him hard throughout and steady pressure. Helluva scrap

5-6 Cuadras but prob even on points. Estrada needs to go all out.
