I would have much preferred Loma to face Garcia at 135.
Robert Garcia said Top Rank is not even considering that right now and that's why they moved up looking for big fights. If it wasn't Rigo it was going to be Salido. For what it's worth Top Rank also said it was either Rigo or Salido

Yea I already posted this awhile back. Just saying what my preference was.
For me Loma had 4 good options, because to me Salido is irrelevant, if Salido gets a good win then fine, consider it. But until then for me it was

Garcia-TR didn't want
Rigo-we are blessed enough to see
Berchelt-who called for it
Davis-who isn't ready

I wouldn't have complained about any of those.
Rigo is a much better option than Flanagan but that would have set up some fights at 135 nicely.

Davis seems like he gave up his title to stem the talk of a Loma fight.

Berchelt was definitely deserving.

Not sure Haymon would let Easter fight Loma at this stage.

At least we get 2 amateur legends clashing in the pros. I just wish it happened at 126.
