Because against a murderous puncher, you don't take your hand away from your face while in mid range (canelo loves to lead with his face sometimes), unless your'e setting the pace of the fight (Rarely happens vs golovkin), you can jab hard enough to distract him with something and get his elbows up (also rarely happens with GGG's chin) as he either jabs with you or baits you so he can counter the heavier leather.

Hello my fellow Jackasses GGG all the way he is a level above Canelo is good but GGG is one of the best middle weights I have seen since Hagler
all the BS Canelo will out box him rubbish.
GGG has the pedigree a outstanding amateur and outstanding pro its a good fight but remember one poor performance gave Canelo some hope
but thats all hope I feel he will KO Canelo in under 8 rounds pick the bones out of that.

Best MW since Hagler? Brother GGG hasn't fought a fighter on the skill level of Canelo. Canelo is a tested world champion with speed and power. GGG cannot out box nor out punch Canelo. GGG has to stay busy. He as to work Canelo hard round after round to even stand a chance. The ref or his corner will have to save GGG somewhere around the 9th or 10th round.
