Ward didn't have to move to 175 and fight Kovalev, going by your logic it would have been more difficult for him to stay at 168... are you joking or just being bias?

Ward couldnt stay at 168. It takes a lot of discipline to make that weight year after year. It was easier for him to move up in weight where he felt stronger instead of weakening himself to make 168. There were challenges for him at 168 like Ramirez or fighting abroad something he's never had the courage to do.
