He beat up Broner for a reason and needs to stay 140. Love Linares talent and respect every step in the ring but he's a door prize in the mind of Arum. Garcia bigger fresher sharper. Who wants to collect trinkets in a division you've already left? weight is going to catch up to Garcia also, all this Crawford talk .

With Crawford moving to 147 there's not much at 140 for Garcia. 135 at least has Linares and should Loma get past Rigo then that fight would be a natural.

Take Linares and clean up first, ride to highlight but either way I don't see Garcia maintaining 135 and being reasonably asked to wait on Loma. Arum wants to keep it all in house but doesn't necessarily translate to best realistic fights imo. Loma, Crawford and Garcia are all moving in the same up direction but at exact same time. Make Garcia vs Figuerora for now, I'll watch

That would be fun. Figueroa's never in a dull fight but Garcia picks him apart. That fight would have to be at 147 as I don't see Omar ever making 140 again. If Linares/ Flanagan and Garcia/ Easter come off then a unification between the winners has to happen. Loma was already talking Flanagan at 135 in November last year so 135 won't be too far off.

I heard Rigo talking about the WBSS and how he thinks it's the future of the sport and he was interested in taking part next year. All these divisions could use the boost of these types of tournaments.

Garcia stops Linares who’s had an easy ride beating overrated British fighters. He’s made nice money over here but his trip back to America won’t be so kind and he’s getting a reality check

    So what!

Floyd the cunt has been doing it for years so allow Linares to beat up our (mainly) Sky inflated hyped up fighters and earn a lot of money in the process.

Linares last fight will probably be against Garcia.

Never said I had a problem with it I’m just saying Garcia is a huge step up from the guys he’s been fighting (or has ever fought)

Congratulations @Master , you've managed to keep up your record of posting his name at least once every day for the last 2 years! #onemancrusadetokeephissecretmancrushrelevant
Ps. shouldn't it be a capital "C" in Cunt?

For some reason and of all fighting champs "easy ride" and Linares just doesn't roll off the tongue. Not every guy can have their 'overrated' British opponents imported to some Arena named after our mobile carriers in the States for them .

More I watch I can't see Garcia - Linares as a first or second choice, Garcia is all over the map as he's been in Cotto crappy catch weight talk all the way to 135. Have to appreciate a meteoric return after time out and the man has many options. I'd like to see him more centered and for promotion to stop playing the shuffling deck with 4,5 rotating door weight divisions. It's like a Waffle house menu for Garcia and they need to eat already! Just went full Teddy.

Agreed. 135 offers great fights anyway. Linares, Loma has talked of a move to 135, Easter, if Davis stays out of prison and gets his head straight that possibility is there, Berchelt might move up. Lots of options and 147 is a bridge too far, and 140 will be rather hallow without Crawford. Nothing wrong with defending a title from time to time either.
