Have you noticed AJ is advertising everything and is on a lot of billboards lately?

Anyway AJ is coming on mainstream TV on BBC this Wednesday night.

This exclusive documentary brings extraordinary insight into one of Britain's major sporting superstars in the final days before one of the biggest fights in recent history - the Joshua v Klitschko world title fight.

The film tells the story of the final hours leading up to the fight as Anthony says farewell to his family and friends. It includes intimate insight into the young champion at home the night before the fight and in his dressing room as the clock ticks down to the opening bell.

The third film from Goalhanger Films with unique access to the young fighter as he rises to the pinnacle of boxing’s most dangerous division, this new documentary includes a dramatic extended sequence featuring all the key action from the fight along with Anthony's own fascinating narration and analysis of the biggest test of his career so far.

Alison Kirkham, Controller of Factual Commissioning, says: "This revealing documentary gives viewers an extraordinary insight into Anthony’s biggest fight to date and the physical and mental preparation it took to take on a world champion - and win.

"Having followed his rise to the top in our two previous films, this new documentary gives a unique perspective on his victory through Anthony's post-fight analysis. It's the perfect reminder of why he's such an exciting fighter as he prepares to take to the ring once more."

Tony Pastor, Executive Producer, Goalhanger Films, says: "I can't remember a more talked about sports event in recent times. It was like watching Rocky but for real. In this film Anthony explains what really happened inside that ring and it makes truly compelling viewing."

Anthony Joshua will defend his world title belts in Cardiff against Bulgarian challenger Kubrat Pulev on 28 October.

Anthony Joshua: The Fight of My Life was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Director of Content and Alison Kirkham, Controller, Factual Commissioning. It is being made by Goalhanger Films where the Executive Producer is Tony Pastor.

The 40 minute documentary, Anthony Joshua: The Fight of My Life will be shown on BBC One on Wednesday 18 October at 10.40pm

yeah that's if the fight happens

Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev in doubt after reports world heavyweight title challenger is injured
Anthony Joshua's defence of his world heavyweight title against Kubrat Pulev is reportedly in doubt.

The pair are due to meet in front of a crowd of 80,000 in Cardiff on Saturday week.

But reports in Bulgaria claim Pulev may pull out after suffering a injury to a muscle in his shoulder.

Joshua was crowned world champion last year when he stopped Charles Martin to win the IBF strap.

Routine defences against Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina followed before Joshua took on Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley six months ago.

The 2012 Olympic gold medalist climbed off the canvas to stop the heavyweight legend in the 11th round and add the WBA strap to his growing collection.

Joshua was ordered to face Pulev as the mandatory challenger for his IBF belt.
It would suit me if the fight was cancelled because the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are playing Birmingham on the same night and I wouldn't mind going to see them

Looks like it's Takam replacing Pulev. No doubt Joshua will cop a load of shit for this as if it were his fault!

Well I blame AJ for it

If Wilder can scare people onto PEDS then it's only fair that AJ can scare people into injuring themselves

Is it just me or do HWs seem to constantly pull out of fights?

Not ideal. No offence to Takam, he's in the number 3 position so it's only right he gets the job. You've got Whyte V Helenius on the card but If Whyte Helenius falls through for any reason other than Dillian getting a rematch with AJ, Dillian would literally kill Eddie Hearn.

I know no one really gives a fuck about Pulev/Takam, it's all about Joshua and people will still get to see him beat some fucker up. But it does take a bit of a hit now that it's a late replacement. Personally, I would have liked to have seen Miller and his mouth brought in.

So Pulev is out of the way, Ortiz is out of the way. A deal with HBO is right around the corner. Basically it’s Wilder next or never. Good

I know most on here don't give a shit and 99% of the crowd wont but Yafai-Ishida, Whyte-Helinus, Buglioni-Johnson and a bunch of prospects is a bloody good night of boxing for a boring nerd like me.

Glad they've saved the card and Takam is a good late replacement. If they made Dave Allen or Lenroy Thomas the replacement anyone that bought a ticket would still turn up.

Takam is respectable considering the circumstances. Should be an easy night for Joshua and yes I'll still be happy to watch him beat some fucker up lol
