Miranda's conditioning and power are outstanding but his balance and footwork need improvement. Also, the accuracy of his punches was not that impressive against Eastman, especially in the 1st few rounds. His overall speed is good, and although his footwork is not exactly graceful, he moves well enough to get the job done. My sense is that he's an excellent fighter who will probably win a belt soon, but that he's not going to become an all-time great. He does not look like a great athlete when I compare him to other great middleweights of the past, such as Hagler, Hopkins, Sugar Ray Robinson and Carlos Monzon. If he does become a great fighter, heart will have a lot to do with it. Maybe he will have a career something like that of Kid Gavilan? I really don't know but that wouldn't be too bad!
