It was a fantastic fight and Salido can be proud of his effort. Fight of the year?

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Shortest lived retirement in quite a long time? Looks like Salido was caught up in the moment and saw the bills on the table when he got home so says he'll fight on. Blames the weight and camp etc. Wanna bet they line up Roman rematch early 2018. Never can figure out why commentators even ask the whats next aka the retirement question after long time battlers like Salido come out of wars brimming with emotion. Hopefully he plays it smart and doesn't jump at a short term money grab immediately because in his words he did look at times 'an old fighter', though as we have all seen one whos heart will outrun his body.
Salido showed he is still dangerous. His body just can't keep up as it used to. Awesome that Roman gets the win. Apart from the loss to Miura he's been on a pretty good run.

Never thought it was the best idea to interview a fighter after huge ko or lose because there not all there or still pumped up. Think if they just had a day to go over what happen they could give clearer answer.
I've heard rumors Ogawa failed a drugs test. Farmer might get some redemption.

He shouldn’t need redemption though, that was one of the worst decisions in a notable fight for quite a time. If it turns out ogawa cheated it just makes it that much worse. Hopefully Farmer can still get some good opportunities on the back of what was a clear win, he’s fun to watch and already has early losses, so it’s not as if he had an aura.
Hopefully the loss is reversed and he gets right back in with an immediate title shot, if the belt is stripped.
