Yep, that was me. Saunders boxed well, but Lemieux was really average. Do it against GG and I will call it great. Till then still think sticky legs made him look great.

First thing that struck me was Lemieux being shaped like Winnie the Pooh just being honest. If your claim to fame is a free swinging bomber from start..you better at least start. He looked resigned with bad coordination and hey credit to Saunders. It's not slighting Saunders who really boxed like a ring general as well on the back foot as going forward with fast punches. Love that he traveled and put on a clinic showing top notch poise.
one take away on the night...how did they manage to keep Fury muzzled in pre and post fight. Lampley pointed him out backstage and Tyson wouldn't even acknowledge camera and no where to be seen in entourage.

So how did the fight pan out then Rocco ?
Saunders looked fantastic. Lets hope we see more of this from him. He was in awesome shape and there was no signs of fatigue in the later rounds. I doubt Jacobs/ Saunders happens next, with Jacobs booked for April at Barclays and Saunders planning on fighting in London. Canelo seems to have thought better than fighting another mover and now wants the GGG rematch. 160 is starting to get some momentum.
