Basically, that's how celebrity charity appeals work.

I was listening to an interview with that Little Britain guy and the woman interviewing him said 'You have raised millions for charity'. I was thinking 'No, the people giving money raised millions!'. Sure he did some tasks, but he could have just given 20 million or whatever.

Not anymore. Some of these beggars are making a packet and are not truly needy. Also I tried to give a guy some money and he asked if I had anything bigger. Yea a big fat zero son.

Ya one guy had a sign saying work for food I offered to buy him food but he said he wants cash. Either he needed drugs or he is picky about food
